US/Mexico Sister Cities Association 50th Anniversary Convention

The 50th US/Mexico Sister Cities Association (USMSCA) Convention will be held February 21-23, 2013 in Laredo, Texas. USMSCA, established in 1962, provides assistance in creating new sister city relationships between U.S. and Mexican cities as well as supports existing partnerships.

Santa Clara County-Moscow partnership improves lives of youth

Santa Clara County, California is working with its sister county, the Region and City of Moscow, Russia, to better the lives of hundreds of youth who are without parental care. The sister county partnership has over the past four years, through exchanges and initiatives, furthered extensive collaboration in the social services arena.

Opening doors to a rich cultural experience

This Fall, Asheville residents got a chance to experience the rich cultural heritage of their sister city San Cristóbal de las Casas, thanks to Asheville Sister Cities International! ASCI’s “Palenque Rojo” cultural project was the culmination of two years of planning and fundraising and successfully leveraged community resources and partners.
